Lost One is a challenging 2D Action RPG that demands precision, strategy, and mastery of its deep combat system. Read your enemies, strike at the perfect moment, and grow stronger as you push through increasingly brutal encounters across a dark, atmospheric world.
โ๏ธ Combat System
- Basic & Heavy Attacks — Chain fast combos into powerful strikes to overwhelm your enemies.
- Counter Attack — Perfectly time your defense to parry an incoming attack and unleash a devastating counter. Timing is everything.
- Dash — Dash forward or backward to evade attacks. Rage mode features a separate Dash cooldown.
- Shuriken Throw — Hurl your shuriken at distant enemies. Upgradeable through three tiers:
- Level 1 โ Normal: Straight projectile throw
- Level 2 โ Spin: Spinning multi-hit throw
- Level 3 โ Bounce: Bounces between multiple targets
- Domain Expansion — Unleash a powerful special ability to dominate the battlefield.
- Wall Slide & Wall Jump — Cling to walls and leap across vertical, narrow sections.
- AOE Attacks — In Rage mode, perform wide area-of-effect heavy attacks that punish groups of enemies.
๐ฅ Rage System
Deal damage and take hits to fill your Rage Bar. Once charged, activate Rage Mode to:
- Deal significantly more damage
- Access Rage-exclusive Dash
- Activate powerful Rage skills (Rage E Skill)
- Activate powerful Rage skills (Rage R Skill)
- Transform into a more aggressive combat stance
When Rage ends, your character plays a unique Revert animation before returning to normal.
๐ง๐ฅโก Elemental Damage & Status Effects
Both the player and enemies can apply elemental effects with unique consequences:

| Shock (Lightning) | Deals electric damage and briefly stuns |
| Time Freeze | Completely freezes the target for a duration |
Each enemy has its own elemental resistance values — exploit their weaknesses to gain the upper hand.

- Unique scenes/levels — Each designed with different layouts and escalating difficulty.
- Every area has its own Area Name displayed on entry and a unique background music track.
- Checkpoint system — Respawn at the last activated checkpoint upon death.
- Scene transitions occur after death or by progressing through the level.

Boss Encounters:
- Boss Skeleton — Multi-phase fight with minion summoning and phase-specific dialogue cutscenes

- Final Boss — Features combo chains, teleportation, AOE attacks, minion spawning, and at least 3 distinct phases
Every boss includes:
- A dedicated Boss Intro cutscene
- Phase-specific dialogue
